In my last post, you might have noticed that I didn’t reference the blog in question.
First, as a former Mormon, I screen every blog I reference. I read in depth their about pages. I look for anomalies, things that would indicate someone who is still a Mormon at heart. Do they believe in the God of the Bible? I link back to them if I am able to invest the time in a back and forth conversation.
Second, I take James 3:1 extremely seriously. And after coming from a Mormon background and seeing the damage it causes to ones faith, I don’t want to mislead someone or take God too lightly in His admonishment to teachers. There are other references in the Bible to false teaching.
Third, I value your trust. I value your friendship regardless of your faith choice.
So I hope that helps if you have questions. I am also willing to take questions from you. Bear in mind, I did learn from the last exchange, that lengthy comments deserve their own blog posts.
You can also privately email me at: email@example.com. I’m looking to help those seeking.
