She Got Me to Try a Pumpkin Spice Latte

Fall means trees change colors.

Weather gets cooler.

A lot of blogs begin to write about change.

Fall becomes an allegory.

Nonetheless, it is also a time to just be.

Sit and be still.

And drink a Pumpkin Spice Latte.

You heard me correctly.

I had (gasp) coffee.

It’s fall. While my friends are decorating their houses with dead leaves and pumpkins, hoping that it inspires cooler weather and changing colors, I am drinking a calorie-ladened latte and ignoring my doctor’s voice in my head on the patio of Starbucks with my friend. It truly is cooler today. My friend convinced me to try a new drink.

Change–a stereo-typical allegory used by many bloggers around Fall.

Instead of writing about change, I am drinking change.
