Giving me a paint can and brush and a whole Saturday is never a good idea.
I just want to get it all done in one day, but my hands begin to tremble after a couple of walls. And you can tell when you walk into some of the rooms here that the paint lines are uneven. A splotch here and there mar the perfect egg shell color of the ceiling.
Uneven paint lines show that, when you enter our home, it’s okay to be imperfect. No one is expecting straight lines, perfect color, or not to have transparent color because you forgot to add another coat in that area. I make my home look more awful than it really is in reality.
It has personality and I love it. It’s real–The way you and I should be real.
So talk to me…uneven paint lines and all.
