When We Visited Uncle Jack

When we visited Uncle Jack in St. George, he invited us to stay in his timeshare with him and the other members of the family coming down that weekend from Salt Lake City.
All I could picture was a serious lack of privacy. But that’s what Mormons love. They love being together all of the time.
S.M. has shook his head at me every time I even think about buying Dr. Cloud and Dr. Townsend’s book, Boundaries, for them. It’s my sense of humor.
While it was a good visit, I was grateful to be back in my Garden of Eden. I think fences make good neighbors, as the saying goes, and the next visit someday will be staying at the same hotel.
It’s especially hard when we can’t talk about Jesus because we don’t believe in the same Jesus.

I prefer private conversation. You are more than welcome to email me in lieu of a comment or contact me via social media.
