The new Bible came in the mail. I couldn’t wait to open it. It was one recommended to me by a book I read some time ago.
Why am I excited about a new Bible when I have several other translations in my library?
Because the Bible is multi-faceted, it’s helpful to get a study Bible that focuses on one facet that I am interested in learning more about.
It’s not an ebook. My friend gets everything in ebook. I do half and half. Bibles really don’t make good ebooks. How can you mark it up, and as one author pointed out one day, what will be left to your relatives to learn from if not a marked up, page bent, old Bible that became a little bit of you?
