Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
You and I know that leaving the Mormon faith, for the most part, brings friction with family or friends of that cult.
As I work, I see this verse and the words, “patient in affliction,” with a new light. God is asking me and you to be patient in the affliction that comes with believing in the true God. He also emphasizes on prayer.
Pray for your Mormon neighbors.
Only death is certain. Til death (or when Jesus returns), we have hope that maybe something you said or did might plant a seed someone else will water.
Be joyful in your new walk as a believer. The silver lining is there. We just have to open our eyes.
