Wrapped in a blanket, I couldn’t resist a very slow morning. The movie, HUGO was an unlikely choice.
Hugo is about a young, orphaned boy who keeps the clocks running at a Parisian train station. He observes life from his towers and finds himself at odds with a toy seller.
Towards the middle of the movie, he says something interesting. The machines are only happy when they are working; when they are serving their purpose.
Humans are made in God’s image. When we are serving Him, we are at our happiest even when we are unhappy with our circumstances.
